Dr. Guan Yue is the Founder of Queen Law Firm, holding both a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Laws, and a Doctor of Laws degree. He possesses deep expertise in international commercial law, cross-border investment, contract law, dispute resolution, and corporate compliance. With hands-on legal experience across multiple jurisdictions, Dr. Guan Yue is especially well-versed in the legal systems of China and Indonesia, delivering practical and strategic legal solutions tailored to complex cross-border matters.
Fluent in Indonesian, English, and Chinese, Dr. Guan Yue provides direct legal services in all three languages, ensuring seamless communication and effective cross-cultural legal support. He has assisted multinational clients in negotiations, due diligence, contract structuring, and execution of international projects.
In his professional practice, Dr. Guan Yue has led legal teams in handling a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters, particularly those involving cross-border investment and business activities between China and Indonesia. He provides strategic legal guidance on transaction structuring, commercial negotiations, contract drafting and review, investment matters, regulatory compliance, and the resolution of various legal issues arising from business operations in Indonesia.
Dr. Guan Yue has also provided legal services to numerous Chinese companies investing and conducting business in Indonesia, including the preparation of legal opinions and legal due diligence reports concerning their business activities, investments, commercial transactions, and the operations of their Indonesian subsidiaries. In addition, he serves as retained legal counsel to a number of Chinese companies in Indonesia, providing ongoing legal support in corporate matters, contracts, employment, licensing, investment, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day legal issues.
In the area of dispute resolution and litigation, Dr. Guan Yue has also led legal teams in handling various civil and criminal matters involving Chinese companies and Chinese individuals in Indonesia. His experience covers commercial disputes, contractual disputes, corporate-related matters, as well as legal representation and defence in criminal proceedings. With a strong understanding of the legal systems, business practices, languages, and legal cultures of both China and Indonesia, he is able to facilitate effective communication among Chinese clients, Indonesian legal teams, law enforcement authorities, and other relevant parties, while formulating legal strategies that are aligned with the clients’ interests and Indonesian law.
